Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. The war was a terrible time for him, and Miles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Miles was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Marshal born in the past three hundred years. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Ploughman father left him crippled. Recently the stress of being a Marshal has made it difficult for him to sleep.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to clean up the streets

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His golden hair is knotted and matted. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: Gilbert is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends
