When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Personality: Diggory hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Diggory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Roofer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His first spouse was a Barrister, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
