History: He comes from a rich western family. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shepherd for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
