He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Simon has worked very hard to control his curse. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tailor and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Courier job and began his own company from there.
