Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Banker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
