History: Justin hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Justin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his quarterstaff with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His silver hair is thinning but still full. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: To be a Baker again; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his son
