History: Diggory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born in the east to a Laborer, Gunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Laborer and found it very stressful. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 57. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
