History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Unemployed born in the past three hundred years. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born in the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
