History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Chad was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Everard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Everard was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bellfounder. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bellfounder and was forced into it by his family; and expand his business

Personality: Justin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and someone believes him a fraud
