History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after John was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. John's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tanner.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has auburn hair. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a Mortician, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Randal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Now he works as a painting tutor during his time off.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Shane abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he's looking for his big break
