History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Gerald was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Detective. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. He has worked as a Butcher like his mother before him.
