He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Healer for the past few years.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When Roland reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Patrick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
