History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His first spouse was a Hunter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
