History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Rolf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.

Fletcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Fletcher.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Soapmaker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
