History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. A true patriot, Gerard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
