History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Adam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Adam was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Cartwright and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Server, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
