Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Alexandre is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a Banker, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a miller and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mortician born in the past three hundred years. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.
