History: The child of a Bricklayer, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
