History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
