History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Alex liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well.
