Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Richard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept.
