Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his rapier with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He is portly but not overly obese. His brown hair is matted, messy, and big. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are likewise violet.
Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. He has auburn hair. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: Peter wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Peter has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a sage and was forced into it by his family

Description: He wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a greatsword, but if one is not available he will default to his greataxe. He is portly but not overly obese. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, William embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after William was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. William's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Sporting a blonde mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Clerebold embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Clerebold enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Clerebold was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Clerebold decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. After a long history of fighting, Clerebold and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
