History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. During his travels, Dean and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Dean discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Dean fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Hunter, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He has achieved small success as a Butcher.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: This man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the right. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. Justin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Description: He wears a violet Stetson hat and violet clothes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'2" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are green.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a great chef.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Conrad liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Description: This younger middle-aged man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to be a sellsword again
