History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Balimaar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sellsword. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Robert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Robert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
