History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by drow. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

Motivation: To be a Miller again; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: Born in the south to a Bricklayer, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Bricklayer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
