Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Gerard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mayor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Jeweler, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Frederick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
