History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Apothecary. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

He prefers to carry a rapier, but if one is not available he will default to his shortbow. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Jocelyn was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Jocelyn decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Body Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
