History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Roland was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sculptor. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and balancing his hectic life and new sculptor responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Arnold isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He now mingles about in high society.
