History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Manfred abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'2" and has the majority of his body covered in plate. His black hair is singed and shortened. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is a Map Maker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the east to a Map Maker, Bernard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and further expansion of business

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His first spouse was a Bricklayer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Kody enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content
