Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Cartwright, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his longsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He prefers to wear flannel, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'6" when asserting himself. His hair is brown and curly. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mortician work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mortician work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and revenge

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'3" and wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his rapier. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. This brown eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Gerard has worked very hard to control his curse. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
