History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Kody never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Norman's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
