History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicholas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicholas. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: Born in the north to a Assassin, Arnold learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Assassin.
