Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears tattered old clothes. His golden hair is long and unkept. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Simon was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of giants

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a green tunic with brown highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around his shoes. His golden hair is lengthy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a Hunter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and balancing his hectic life and new hunter responsibilities is difficult

Description: 6'2" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He is portly but not overly obese. His white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wishes to resurrect an old love
