History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Ralf's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Ralf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Armorer. He tends to his Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Patrick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Arnold alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
