History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
