Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An older man who tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Shane isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: The child of a Sailor, who enjoyed hunting, Shane was taken on many hunting expeditions. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of a Adventurer, who enjoyed hunting, Chad was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Balimaar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he wants revenge against brigands
