History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Gilbert was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Tanner. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Reynard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he very much looks the part of a Cartwright. His red hair, when down, is lengthy. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Geoffrey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
