History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sellsword for the past few years.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sellsword and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Born in the north to a Detective, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and further expansion of business

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He prefers to wear pastel pants and tee shirts. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his father's many stories. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and wants to work out more often

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and carries swords. His blonde hair is still thick. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Sailor but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
