History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He tends to his Architect job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.
