When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Robert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Robert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ernest embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and money/treasure

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spice Merchant. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Tanner and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business
