History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Chad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and wishes to resurrect an old love
