During his travels, Adelard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Adelard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Adelard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Anthony hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
