History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His long black hair reaches down to his waist. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Sailor profession.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He became a Bookbinder soon after.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Heward enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to clean up the streets

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Adam was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Adam's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and human compassion
