History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A freak accident while working with his Guard mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: An older man who wears a black vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his black boots flare out at the collars, he is not a threatening figure. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. He has wavy white hair. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Rolf was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
