History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
