History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Lewis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to unite with his brother

History: He was born in a small forest village. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Gifted from a young age, Adelard studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adelard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adelard. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
