Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears an entirely brown suit with blue socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hugh was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He wears a black costume with the symbols of death on his torso. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His blonde hair is cut short. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Patrick grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This tall, slender man wears a white vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His green leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his white boots flare out at the collars. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Gifted from a young age, Lewis studied abroad. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.
Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
