History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Raymond was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Gomory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gomory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gomory and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gunter was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of illithids
