Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Simon is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Kody was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: Thomas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Weaver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Kyle abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.
