Balimaar decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to reunite with his old friends

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
